IT specialists have been taking part in the Basic IT Services Management and IT Resource Stability conference, organised for operating team staff at the Gazprom International group by the international training centre, Gazprom International Training (part of Gazprom International).
At the event, held from 5 to 12 April in India’s capital, New Delhi, conference participants from various countries attended a course on the company's key areas of IT activity. They learned about its international experience in on-the-ground IT services management, and became familiar with the best global information security practices.
Gazprom International staff attended a refresher course given by such authoritative lecturers as Tatyana Orlova (top-level instructor at the HP Russia Training Centre and member of the board of directors of the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF)) and Natalia Miloslavskaya (associate professor at the Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute’s National Nuclear Research University), along with a number of others.
Gazprom International is Gazprom's single specialised company in the field of prospecting, exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits outside Russia.
As a global business structure, Gazprom International has positioned itself as a technologically advanced, dynamically evolving company which pays close attention to the qualifications of its employees around the world.
In 2011, Gazprom International Training B.V., a specialised training centre, was established in the Netherlands to provide top-level training programmes. The main task of the centre is to organise training courses that meet the highest international standards.
Gazprom International Training regularly holds short seminars and training courses in five main areas: equipment and technology, communications, management, business and professional training. The training is conducted in English with simultaneous translation (if needed) into Russian and the tutors are all certified trainers and consultants. For example, Gazprom International Training provides BOSIET training (Basic Offshore Safety and Induction and Emergency Training), as well as English language training courses at a professional level.
